The Cleared Final Public API provides access to aggregated flight training data from opt-in flight schools across the United States. All data is anonymized and aggregated to protect individual privacy while providing valuable industry insights.

All data is aggregated and anonymized. We require minimum thresholds (5+ records, 3+ schools) before returning data.
Real-Time Data
Statistics are computed daily from live flight school data, giving you the most current industry insights.
How We Protect Flight School Data
Aggregated: We never return individual flight school data. Instead, we compute statistics across multiple schools (averages, percentages, totals). No single school's performance can be identified.
Anonymized: No identifying information about specific schools, students, or instructors is ever exposed through the API.
Minimum Thresholds (k-anonymity): Before returning any statistic, we verify:
- At least 5 data points contributed to the calculation
- Those data points came from at least 3 different flight schools
Example: If Texas only had 1 flight school, returning "Texas average hours to solo = 15.2" would expose that school's data directly. By requiring 3+ schools, we ensure no single school's data can be isolated or reverse-engineered.
