Compliance Center

Flight School Compliance Software That Tracks What's Outstanding

Required documents, expiration alerts, and policy acknowledgements — tracked and surfaced in one place, so nothing quietly lapses.

Compliance Center Tracks It — You Stay Responsible

Cleared Final's Compliance Center tracks required documents, expiration dates, and policy acknowledgements, and alerts you before something lapses. It does not certify or guarantee regulatory compliance, and it doesn't currently block scheduling or dispatch on its own — your school, your instructors, and your pilots remain responsible for meeting FAA requirements. Compliance Center is a tool for staying ahead of that, not a substitute for it.

What Compliance Center Actually Does

Required Documents, Assigned by Role

Require specific document types — medical certificates, photo ID, written test results, instructor endorsements, certificates, and more — targeted to specific users or roles, so a student and an instructor don't see the same checklist.

Expiration Tracking and Alerts

Documents can carry an expiration date or expire automatically a set number of days after upload. A background job sends alerts as expiration approaches, so an expired medical certificate or written test result doesn't quietly go unnoticed.

Required Reading and Policy Acknowledgement

Require a document be read and acknowledged by a deadline. Every acknowledgement is recorded with who, when, and from where — a real record, not just a checkbox that resets.

Outstanding Obligations Dashboard

See what's outstanding across your school in one place — expired documents, unacknowledged policies, and missing requirements — instead of checking each person's file individually.

Audit Log

Every compliance action — uploads, acknowledgements, requirement changes — is logged with who did what and when, for when you need to show your work.

Connect Your Own Cloud Storage

Connect Google Drive (with OneDrive, Dropbox, and S3 also supported) so compliance documents can live in folders your school already uses, including whole folders that cascade requirements to everything inside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Cleared Final guarantee we're FAA compliant?

No. Cleared Final's Compliance Center tracks required documents, expiration dates, and acknowledgements, and alerts you before something lapses — it does not certify or guarantee regulatory compliance. Your school, your instructors, and your pilots remain responsible for meeting FAA requirements; Compliance Center is a tool for staying on top of that, not a substitute for it.

Does an expired document block someone from flying?

Not today. Compliance Center tracks and alerts on expired or missing requirements, but it doesn't currently block scheduling or dispatch on its own — that's a distinction we want to be upfront about rather than let you assume. If automated scheduling restrictions matter to your evaluation, tell us — it's something we're aware schools want.

Is this different for Part 61 and Part 141 schools?

No — Compliance Center works the same way regardless of your school's part. It tracks documents, expirations, and acknowledgements generically; it doesn't have separate Part 61 or Part 141 workflows.

Can we use our existing Google Drive for compliance documents?

Yes. Connect Google Drive (OneDrive, Dropbox, and S3 are also supported) and point Compliance Center at folders you already use, including whole folders whose requirements cascade to everything inside.

What can students and instructors see versus admins?

Students and instructors see and acknowledge their own requirements. Owners, Admins, Dispatch, and Directors of Maintenance can see compliance across the whole school; only Owners and Admins can administer compliance policies and connected storage.
