School referral reward
The CFI School Referral Program pays $500 when you refer a flight school that is not already a customer. The first accepted valid referral is the one that counts. If that school goes live and stays active for 90 days, you can earn $500.

The school goes live and qualifies
Once the school goes live, it has 90 days to become a qualified school by staying active and meeting minimum usage requirements (students, reservations, and paid invoices).
Qualify, then get paid
Once the school qualifies, we'll ask you for a completed tax form (W-9 or W-8BEN) and your payout details. We pay the $500 reward after that's on file and approved.
Solo is for a one-instructor CFI. The referral reward is for a partner who refers a school that is not already a customer and that meets the published qualification gates. Existing customers, self-referrals, and public institutions are reviewed or excluded as described in the terms.

Yes. Student accounts are allowed for training and billing. They do not count as the privileged staff seat.
You must upgrade to a school plan before adding that seat. Solo cannot run a multi-person school.
No. The privileged Solo seat may not be shared, rented, or used as a shared login.
No. Solo access is personal to the enrolled partner and is not a transferable lifetime license.
If you refer a qualifying flight school that becomes a Cleared Final customer, you can earn $500 after the school stays active through the qualification window.
The published reward is $500 for one qualifying legal customer.
Partners who meet the published eligibility rules at the time of submission. Employer policies still apply.
Attribution uses the first accepted valid referral, not the first raw submission.
No. Existing customers are not eligible referral targets.
Only one reward may be paid for a given legal customer, even if more than one partner submitted a referral.
A referred school must remain active and meet qualification gates for the configured 90-day window that starts at a controlled go-live event.
Qualification can require minimum students, reservations, paid invoices, and revenue. Those gates are configuration-driven.
Yes. You are responsible for any taxes on a paid reward. Tax forms may be required before payout.
A reward is not payable until qualification, required tax information, and any required payout approval are complete.
No. You may say a reward may be available if the school qualifies. You may not promise features, pricing, or a guaranteed payout.
Self-referrals and ownership conflicts are reviewed. Follow your employer policy before you submit.
